A week of what I eat – Day 4

Today started like every day. With a cup of tea while I get ready for work. Only, I forget to take a picture of my morning cup of tea in my special N’s house cup! !


Before I left the house, I made another cup of tea for the road, in my I <3 cup cakes cup. Then at the office, it was the usual 7pts+ breakfast and a 4pts+ work mocha!




Banana o’clock was preceded by a trip to the 7-Eleven across the street to get bananas, because I forgot them at home this morning.  I also almost forgot to take a picture, so here is a half eaten banana.






Lunch was a recipe I’ve made a few times now. The recipe makes 6 servings and includes 2tbs of Canola Oil, 2 chicken breasts and 2 cups of whole wheat pasta.  One serving = 4pts+. Of course, there is my ever present lunch time coke zero!






Hey, look. My water bottle made an appearance today.  It is amazing how easy it is to drink water when you fill the bottle and put it on your desk!







Hmm, the daily fruit salad. I love how when I put a little squirt from the aerosol can of cool whip on my fruit salad in the morning, it is liquid by the time I eat it.   0pts+ for all the fruit, and the usual 1pt+ for the light cool whip.






Banana o’clock came twice today!








Dinner tonight was a case of eating what is in the house.  I have to say, much less creativity and effort goes in to a dinner for one.  Another 5pts+ steak, 0pts+ for the broccoli and onion, and 1pts+ for the canola oil used in the onion cooking.






But it turns out that the lack of a starch in my dinner was noticed by my tummy, so I made myself a little bit of mashed potato. Half a baked potato, mushed up with a little bit of parmesan cheese, salt & pepper. The potato cost me 2pts+ and the cheese cost me 1.





All in all, I think it was a pretty good food day.  26pts+ used, and 3 left.

    i love day 3 food… lots of food… not too many points… i think i could do that… if only my husband would stop buying ice cream, potato chips and reece’s pieces.

      That’s part of the reason I am doing this for a week. The main reason is to keep myself accountable, but the secondary reason is to show people that you can eat a LOT of food for a reasonable amount of points!
